NEW DIVISIONS OF PLAY OFFERED: We will offer 8 divisions of play based off of a grade format. You must sign up for the division of the highest graded player on your team based off of the 2016/2017 school year.

Please keep in mind, that NFF reserves the right to combine or modify divisions if necessary.
Proof of Grade is REQUIRED to participate in this tournament. If you can not provide proof of grade, you will not be allowed to participate. If are you are caught with an ineligible player on your team, your entire team will be removed from the tournament, without refund.
AWARDS: Division Champions will receive INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. The team will also receive a FREE PAID bid into the 2017 Mike. S. Malia National Flag Football Championships to DEFEND their title!Division Runner ups will also receive consolation awards.
ENTRY FEE: $395 per team (+ processing fee)
GATE FEE: There will be a gate fee to enter the park of $5 per car + $1.25 per person (paid to Broward County for field maintenance) upon arrival.
CONCESSIONS: Food is allowed in the complex. However, food trucks will be on sight all weekend long.

WHO IS MICHAEL S. MALIA?: Often referred to as “Coach Mike”, Michael S. Malia coached for National Flag Football from 2010 – until April 2nd, 2016 when he unfortunately passed away from a heart attack at the age of 43. Mike leaves behind Jennifer Malia and son Owen. Mike was one of the greatest souls to walk this earth. When coach would walk into a room of total strangers, he would work tirelessly to ensure that everybody was having a great time. Through his hilarious jokes and endless stories, he was sure to leave a positive impact on everybody that he encountered.
Coach Mike and our Executive Director, Bryan Ledin, met in 2010 when they were both assigned to same flag football team in Michigan to begin their coaching careers. Since the moment those two met, they were inseparable on the football field, participating in over 20 sessions of flag football together, including capturing numerous charity, state and regional titles. Partial proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the Michael S. Malia Foundation which will be formed to allow for children, no matter their financial situation to have the ability to play the game he loved so much. With this tournament, we honor you coach!
